Cadillac Catera

Many Americans never thought that Cadillac would be able to compete against the European luxury market when it came to looks and ability; however, the 2000 Cadillac Catera has proven them wrong. This mid-size luxury sedan, which by the way is in fact imported from Europe, matches the German built vehicles in performance and best of all surpasses the foreign made vehicle in both overall luxury and standard equipment features.

With the power of both the BMW 3-Series and the C-Class Mercedes, this new 2000 Cadillac Catera also offers the driver a luxury and not to mention the great safety features of the Cadillac of excellence.

The entire package of the 2000 Cadillac Catera was revamped this year. Gone are the days of the plain Jane Cadillac. Instead, Cadillac loaded this luxury sports sedan up with a sharper and more precise look. Unlike the Catera from years before, this car looks like a weightier version of its forefathers.

If that’s not enough, you could have easily added a mere $2000 more to the total price and received the sports package, which included a unique spoiler and exclusive rocker moldings.

The interior features for the 2000 Cadillac Catera were also updated for those that chose this $30,000 dollar ride. New features for the year included a newer and more updated console, new driver side door panels were featured, as well.

Best of all, the 2000 Cadillac Catera offered its driver and their passengers more safety features which included seat mounted side impact air bags, frontal air bags, and adjustable seat belts and head restraints.

Although this particular 2000 Cadillac may weigh a massive 3700 pounds, the overall driving ability of this vehicle is light and smooth. In fact, it’s better than ever before thanks to the adjustments of air/fuel flow in the cylinders. Looks like Cadillac proved to be successful when this 2000 model rolled off the showroom floor and onto the highways of America.
